Bridgestone Corporation donated 50 million to assist flood relief efforts in Thailand.

Bangkok (December 28, 2011) - Thai Bridgestone Co., Ltd. announced today that Bridgestone Corporation has made a donation of JPY 50 million to assist flood relief efforts in Thailand.

Mr. Nobuyuki Tamura, Managing Director of Thai Bridgestone Co., Ltd. and Bridgestone Sales (Thailand)
Co., Ltd., represented for both Bridgestone Corporation and Bridgestone Group in Thailand to donate a total relief fund of JPY 50 million (approximately 20 million BAHT) to "Rajaprajanugroh Foundation" and "Thai Red Cross Society" .

Bridgestone would like to express our deepest condolence to everyone who has suffered from the worst flood in 50 years history of the country and we wish the nation a speedy recover. Throughout 42 years of history in Thailand our group has taken part and will continue to do our best in assisting this great society.
