When the Mercedes-Benz X-Class ute lands on Australian shores in April next year, prospective buyers will have the option to upgrade to Bridgestone Dueler H/P Sport 19-inch tyres as part of the German manufacturers’ push to differentiate its first dual-cab offering in a competitive ute landscape.
Standing out in a marketplace featuring heavy hitters such as the Toyota Hilux, Nissan Navara, Ford Ranger and Volkswagen Amarok is no mean feat, but adding premium tyres to the Mercedes-Benz X-Class is certainly a sweetener for Australian buyers, who will reap the handling, comfort and safety benefits of high performance Bridgestone tyres.
The Mercedes-Benz X-Class ute will be offered in three different models, ranging from the entry-level Pure, to the upgraded Progressive and top-of-the-line Power, with the 19-inch Dueler H/P Sport option available on the latter two variants.
Designed to meet the stringent original equipment demands of premium car manufacturers such as Mercedes, BMW and Audi, the Dueler H/P Sport delivers sports car levels of performance in a luxury vehicle.
Utilising Bridgestone Potenza performance characteristics, the Dueler H/P Sport range delivers excellent handling, steering and in-car comfort, all features demanded by the discerning Australian buyer.
