Bridgestone puts the right stuff on Toyota's V6 HiLux Heroes
The slogan on the back of the utes says it all - "THE RIGHT STUFF FOR THE TOUGH STUFF" - with Bridgestone a major sponsor of the new Toyota V6 HiLux Heroes.
The V6 HiLux Heroes are wowing crowds across Australia with five V6 HiLux utes performing a variety of stunts ranging from formation driving to reverse flick turns, 12-metre ramp jumps and high-speed crossovers.

And, there's the crowd favourite - the two-wheel driving stunts in which the driver balances the car on its driver-side wheels.
V6 HiLux Heroes was conceived by Rick Bates and owners of the growing Drift Australia series Wayne Boatwright and Scott Anderson.
"We had to match the legendary toughness of the HiLux with the toughest rubber we could find, so naturally we turned to Bridgestone," Wayne said.
"It's fantastic to have such a great brand associated with our vehicles and the show. And having light truck construction Bridgestone tyres on the cars means they're ready for anything we can dish out, even when we're driving them on the sidewalls!"
Stanley Toh, National Marketing Manager for Bridgestone Australia Ltd, said the sponsorship was "a natural fit".
"We are very excited about our newest 4WD product, the Dueler 694 LT, which features our ultra-tough light truck construction technology," he said.
"We have proved through our factory and field tests that the Dueler 694 LT is just about unbreakable, much like the HiLux - so it's a perfect fit to have our brand associated with the V6 HiLux Heroes."
Between them, the V6 HiLux Heroes drivers have several decades of experience in stunt and rally driving, and have performed in front of more than 45 million Australians.
