Bridgestone Wins Kenworth's 2006 Supplier of the Year Award

Bridgestone Australia Ltd. has been awarded a prestigious prize - Kenworth's 2006 Supplier of the Year Award. Supplier of the year is awarded to only one supplier every year. Bridgestone supplies truck tyres to Kenworth's truck assembly operations in Victoria.

PACCAR Australia Managing Director Joe Rizzo and Chairman Andrew Wright, presented the award to Mac Ohashi, Chairman and CEO of Bridgestone Australia Ltd. in April at an award dinner in Melbourne.

Mr Ohashi said: "Winning this award is a magnificent team effort and I want to thank and congratulate everyone. Many employees have contributed to this success and should be proud of this achievement."

Kenworth & Bridgestone celebrate the award

The award recognises achievements in the areas of quality assurance, purchasing, material planning, customer service, material receiving and engineering.
