History of Bridgestone Australia 

2005 – October 2005 was the 40th aniversary of the Salisbury tyre plant in South Australia.

2006 – The Bridgestone Select Franchise model was introduced in December 2006. "The future of tyre retailing in Australia."

2007 – The new South Australian State Sales Office and warehouse was opened at Wingfield.
         – The first 19" OE tyre supplied to GM holden Ltd. for the VE Model.
         – The first 20" OE tyre supplied to Holden Special Vehicles (HSV) E-Series.
